Wow. I could stare at this for hours, I'm awe struck. The poses are terrific, the angle at which this is facing gives this picture a whole new level of awesome perspective. The level of details are supreme. The expression on Achilles' face before he lands his attack on Hector is pretty awesome as well. What platform did Achilles leap off of? Who cares. The fact that he is coming down to land his final blow onto Hector is all that matters.

The colors are so vibrant, but they do not overtake your senses, the lines are smooth and yet are very define, the dynamics of the lighting is really good. If I didn't know that this was a digital painting I would have assumed that it was an oil painting.

Originality, I can't say that this is the first time that I've seen an artist depicting someone coming out of mid-air to deliver a blow onto their opponent, but then again it is kind of hard to depict something completely original that no one else never depicted before. That being said, this is still a very unique piece. It is kind of reminiscent of some the oil paintings of both the Renaissance and Mid-Victorian eras.

Overall I'd say like Achilles did to Hector, you really executed the hell out of this picture. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/t/t…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="262" title="Thumbs Up"/>
